UQM Technologies Named to the KLD Global Climate 100™ Index
 
 

FREDERICK, COLORADO, OCTOBER 20, 2005 ... UQM TECHNOLOGIES, INC. (AMEX:UQM) , a developer of alternative energy technologies, announced today that it has been named to the KLD Global Climate 100™ Index, the first global index focused on solutions to climate change. The index was created by KLD Research & Analytics, Inc., an independent investment research and index provider, in response to growing demand from institutions and individuals for investment strategies that address global warming.

KLD developed the Global Climate 100™ Index in partnership with the Global Energy Network Institute, a non-profit research and education organization.

UQM Technologies, Inc. is a developer and manufacturer of power dense, high efficiency electric motors, generators and power electronic controllers for the automotive, aerospace, medical, military and industrial markets.
